The NEAR Language Education Conference

The NEAR Language Education Conference will be co-sponsored by JALT Niigata and the Teaching Younger Learners SIG. It will be held online, on August 28th, 2021, from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Meaningful learning in local contexts”, and will feature presenters from a wide range of teaching contexts and backgrounds.

The plenary speaker will be Alison Hasegawa, who will talk about learners’ creativity through picture books and poetry.
